Mr. Vishnu Kamalanathan is a businessman on a visit to Chennai and books a room in a lodge. One day after his check-out, a young female’s dead body is recovered from the bathroom attached to the room he had occupied. The cops arrest him and charge him of murder. His daughter approaches Altaff, a brilliant criminal lawyer to take up the case and defend her father.

Altaff suspects that not only is his client innocent, but also a victim of a deep conspiracy. Mr. Ganesh offers his deductive skills, while his able long nosed assistant Shivashankar agrees to do the legwork.

Between the three of them, they uncover startling facts that lays bare the fact that being adjudged as not guilty by the courts is certainly not the same as being innocent of having committed the crime!
